A few years ago i was hunting and a doe busted out of the trees in front of me, just behind her was a wolf. By the time i got over the excitement and remembered i had a gun both were gone lol. Two days later about 500 yards from there i saw some ravens and went in to check it out. All that was left of the deer(presumably the same one) was bones scattered over about a 200 yard circle. It looked like that wolf was joined by others after the kill an they feasted. After looking for a while i found the head and took it home to get teh jaw out.
