Guest Xen
Re: New Shotguns for 2006 also wanted to give a heads up about remington's O/U - they call it the Spartan. now, i'm not sure how reliable these will be, but, they are actually manufactured in russia by E.A.A. my cousin? (wife's cousin's husband) bought one last weekend, all i can say, is that it feels inexpensive. price was $400, and we spent about an hour working the gun so that it didn't take 2 people to open and close it. i wasn't impressed by it at all
Guest Xen
Re: New Shotguns for 2006 SigArms is coming out with a new shotgun as well. it's an over/under that looks pretty much like an over/under. from the factory... no middle bead, no ported barrels, no lengthened forcing cones, no adjustable comb, no premium recoil pad, no gold inlayed engraving, no scroll work. nice basic over/under... sounds like a great field gun, until the sig rep told me that it was 5,000. it has a two weight system in the stock to balance the gun... that was pretty much all he had for a selling point, and for the life of me, i can't remember what the model is... f3, s1, something like that
AJ
Re: New Shotguns for 2006 Uh, yeah. Ya know, if you would have not shot for 3 months you could have afforded a Beretta or Browning. You are saying you shot on average of 4 boxes of ammo every day for just over 3 months? What were you shooting, trap, skeet, sporting clays, ??? What work has your Dad had to his gun in the past 10 years? You are trying to say an EAA o/u shot over half a million shots with no problems? Now where did I leave that flag?

AJ
Re: New Shotguns for 2006 EAA is European American Armory. Their shotguns are actually named under Baikal. They are Russian made by the Izhevsky Manufacturing Plant. Take a look at them and you decide. I would not buy one before you see and hold it in your hands.
