AJ
Re: Air Rifle I have a Brolin M-21. It is a clone of the RWS Model 34. At 30 yards, mine will shoot under 1" groups with a few different pellets. Get a good quality scope mount and a good air rifle scope. You will destroy a typical rifle scope on the single spring air rifles.
Illinoisbowhunter
Re: Air Rifle Ive got a Crossman RepeatAir 1077 thats Co2 powered and has a 12 shot rotary clip. I used the hech out of it when I was younger. Perfect gun to shoot birds/sqarrels with. Its semiauto and you can get the 12 shots off pretty quickly, shoots pellets only. Sure beats reloading the gun after every shot and having to pump air into it. I had a regular pump air rifle before this one but I used it so much it no longer would pump the air into it. Tominator
Re: Air Rifle Gamos are tough to beat for the price. Depends on how much you want to spend. You can spend well over a grand on an air rifle quick.

Tominator
Re: Air Rifle [ QUOTE ] AJ is on the beam as always. How many people know there is a real difference between air rifle and regular rifle scopes. [/ QUOTE ] I remember reading an article about that in American Rifleman, but I can't remember the difference and why a special scope is required. Refresh my memory. AJ
Re: Air Rifle On a springer air rifle like the RWS, Beeman, and clones, the piston going forward has the shock opposite of what a centerfire rifle does. Standard scopes are not designed for this reverse recoil and it can turn a very high $ scope into trash in no time. Make sure its rated for air rifles. LETMGROW
Re: Air Rifle You know AJ? It seems amazing to me a special scope is required on an air rifle to withstand the forces, but they are realitively cheap. You would almost think the upper scale scopes could withstand the shock, but according to what I have read they can't. Seems like this technology would help standard scopes to be more shockproof in the event they were dropped.
