Swamphunter
I always wear my safety harness when using my treestand (Summut climber). The only thing is I hate the straps that hang. I have started putting it on under my hunting pants and coat and just leaving the hook out the top of the back of my coat in my hood for easy access. I realize this is not recommended for ease of escaping it should a fall occur, but at least I am wearing it. I want to get the best harness that is strapless and preferrably reversable camo/blaze. Do they make something like this?? Do any of ya's have one and what do you think. Are they worth the money??

Swamphunter
Re: Safety Harness Will it work with the prussic knot that the summit stands come with?? My harness has a mteal hook on it, and I don't see it on that vest?? Thanks
LifeNRA
Re: Safety Harness Yeah Ken it will. I have used both straps that came with the vest, and the rope that came with my Summit as well. There is a DVD that comes with this vest. I like this vest, soo easly to put on, no tangles to play with.
wtnhunt
Re: Safety Harness I wear my harness under my last layer. Thing I dont like about my harness or even a vest like that outside my parka is it makes it really tough to get into my pockets.

[/ QUOTE ] That's what I'm going to next year!! While I use the safety harness system that comes with the summit stands, I particually don't care for them either!! Trying to fasten those lower legs straps can be a real pain when all bundled up!! I like the idea of that vest and quick release buckles!!! Slick!!!
