Guest bigbuckmiddaugh
I got anothe doe tonight. How do you know if they are a dry doe? As in..they can have no babies. I believe there is one more out there that came in with her. She had nipples, no milk at all, no bucks following either doe. That could also explain why i don't have scrapes! dogdoc
Re: Doe\'s Question! the only way i know of is to check her bag. if she has milk you should be able to get a little out by squeezing (milking) a teat. I guess you could also cut into a gland and see if it is producing milk. todd
Guest bigbuckmiddaugh
Re: Doe\'s Question! yeah, when i was dressing her, she had no bag at all! She was the smart one too! Where i park my car, she must be able to see it. So, i parked it further back! And took a different route in, well..she walked in middle of the field, she must have seen where i walked, smelled around then just walked back in. LOL So.. i take i took a different route in, where nothing could see me thru some pines, then come in on the back side. Everytime i do that, i see deer, like yesterday! Smart animals!
