Swamphunter Posted November 10, 2004 Report Share Posted November 10, 2004 Hey fellas, my 2 year old baby girl, Aspen, has just been diagnosed with pneumonia. We have had her at the doctors 3 times in the last week as she has been getting sick, and they kept giving her antibiotics and stuff but it never took care of whatever caused this! She is a very sick little girl right now and will probably be admitted to the hospital when she goes back in the morning. There are no beds available and the doctor told us tonight that since it was late and she was sleeping, just to take her home and put her in our room for the night. This little girl is a sweetheart and even though she is horribly sick right now, she was "tending" to my Dad who was just released from the hospital for symptoms of a stroke. I'm telling ya's, I know I'm biased but this girl is the most caring, soft hearted sweetie you'd ever meet. Very polite and very soft spoken. I'm a little nervous right now on this one as they can't seem to get her better and she has just been getting worse. Not too mention my wife is nervous and she has a sense that I trust...if she's nervous, I'm nervous. Please say a few prayer guys... thank you. When he came to, he was in alot of pain. As a father, I know what you are feeling. But have faith friend. Children are tougher than we are! I have a daughter myself and I know it breaks my heart when she's sick. Your daughter looks like a strong little girl and I'm sure she'll be fine. Kids can bounce back really quick. We made it through a long night but she finally fell asleep about 3;30am and slept the rest of the night. Up until 3:30am, it was off and on and labored breathing all the way. We really appreciate the prayers and I'm praying form everyone else on here with sick children. It is heartbreaking to see a child suffer and theres not a lot that can be done. It is so hard to see them like that and not be able to do anything to fix it. Also sending prayers for you and your wife, I know how scary this can be, but God will never leave the sides of any of you!
