Smitteken
My friends dad hit this deer with his truck and didn't go back to find it until about 3 days later. This is the biggest deer I've seen close to my area. I wish I would have found him. Its about 25 inch inside spread.

Tominator
Re: Big IL roadkill Love the crab claws! My buddy has a 186" non-typ on the wall that he claimed while on duty after an accident he responded to one night. The antlers got knocked clean off, he found one side, and the guy who called in the accident found the other half. They agreed to split the mounting costs and share the mount, although I think Shawn has the rack 99% of the time.

[/ QUOTE ] I guess this guy has a hunting cabin, and the only time he has it is when he goes to the cabin during gun week in Ohio. To my knowledge, my buddy Shawn has had it continuously for quite some time. My buddy Shawn didn't like the arrangement either, but being that he is a police officer, and the guy who hit it knew the law, it was the only option he had if he ever wanted to lay claim to any of it. Smitteken
Re: Big IL roadkill The truck was about a 1990 4x4 silverado. It was banged up pretty bad. The front was smashed up and the passenger door wouldn't open. But it still runs.
