LifeNRA
Re: Charles Daly 12ga Turkey Guns? I seen one at Walmart last year, told mt brother-in-law about it, nice price it had. He bought it and so far he likes it. It was a pump that takes 3" mags. I personally never had one, but the price was hard to beat!
Covehnter
Re: Charles Daly 12ga Turkey Guns? I would personally steer clear of the Charles Daly, not speaking from the turkey hunting stand point but i've watch 2 different CD autos bust to pieces while duck hunting. The bolt and random other parts busted up and fell out of the gun, pretty scary. I've never actually heard any extremely postive comments about Charles Daly's but i'm sure you can find them somewhere. I shoot a Remington for turks and a Benelli for ducks. . . dont think you'll regret buying either one of those.
EKYhunter
Re: Charles Daly 12ga Turkey Guns? I won one at our banquet last Spring. I haven't shot it yet as I use a Benelli Steady Grip with the Rhino/Nitro combo for turkeys. I'll likely pattern it this Spring just to see how it shoots. I have heard some good things about them though but I think if I were buying I'd get something like a Browning, Remington, or Benelli. Just my $.02. maytom
Re: Charles Daly 12ga Turkey Guns? My Nephew won a CD pump gun in Mossy oak camo recently, their turkey hunting model. This comming spring will be the first chance he will have to try it out.
borch
Re: Charles Daly 12ga Turkey Guns? I've heard good reports for their pumps and double barrels. The only negative reports I've heard has been with their autos. They do have a lifetime warrenty. But it sounds like it gets used quite a bit. HeviShot
Re: Charles Daly 12ga Turkey Guns? I personally saw a auto fire a load of #8 birdshot half way into the chamber. It burnt the guy's face and right hand.don't why or how but it did. Most of the load went down the barrel but the shell blew out the side.
