Re: bow or gun?

bow hunting just because it is a longer season, we get to hunt the rut, there is no other people hunting, seems to involve more skill then pushing timber, get closer to the deer, just plain a BLAST!!!! Don't get me wrond, after a long bow season I am always excited to get the slugguns out and try to out smart them deer yet another time!

Ireally like bow season. Some times you just need a little more distance.I went out yesterday last day of ML with my brother seen one of the biggest typiclas I ever seen was even to for for the safe shot. The deer just feed around,he was i think around 190 as a 10 just monster next year he should be up neer 200.that makes you want to gun hunt

bowhunting for me, although i do gun hunt just as hard as during bow season. bowhunting takes more patience and practice. i know that i shoot my bow year round so i stay on top of everything and also i just enjoy shooting a bow.

BOW!! After attending the school of Mother Nature and taking a few deer with stick and string, rifle hunting just don't have the same flare.. But hunting is hunting and I LOVE hunting.

Re: bow or gun?

Up until September of 04' I said I would never be caught in the woods with a bow, to risky and hard. Well, my second afternoon in the woods with a bow I killed a 125 incher. Talk about eating my words! I had the same luck this past September when I took my first velvet buck. I have six other bucks by gun, but none of the hunts were as fun, challenging, exciting, memorable, (and I could go on) as bow hunting!
