How do I get to the Realtree Picture Post site?

- Go to Realtree.com

- In the menu select "Hunting Community", this will drop down a list

- Select "Picture Post" from the list, this will get you to the Realtree Picture Post site

OR

If you are currently in the Realtree Forums, there are two links entitled "Picture Post", one at the top of the page and one at the bottom of the page, selecting either of these links will get you to the Realtree Picture Post site.

How do I register an account on the Realtree Picture Post site?

NOTE: If you are already registered user on the Realtree.com forums or AdvantageCamo.com forums, you DO NOT need to re-register to use the Realtree Photo Post site. Just login to the Realtree Photo Post site with your same display name and password that you use on the forums

- In the top right hand corner of the screen there are four links: Main Index - Search - Register - Login. Select "Register", this takes you to the age verification section page.

- Simply use the given areas to enter the Month, Day and Year of your birthday and then select the "Submit Birth Date" button. This will take you to the registration section page.

- Check the box agreeing to the board rules of the Realtree Picture post site.

- Fill in the "Required Information": Login Name, Display Name, Email Address, Verify Email Address, Password, Verify Password.

- Click the "Submit" button.

- Realtree Photo Post site now sends a verification email to the email account you listed.

- Go to your email and open the email from [email protected]. This lists your Login Name and Password

- The email will have a verification link, click on this link to verify your email and activate your account. When you click on the link it will take you back to Realtree with a message confirming your account has been activated.

- Enter your Display Name and Password in the appropriate areas

- Select the "Submit" button, this will then take you to a screen that says login successful, and then automatically take you to the Main Index page on the Realtree Picture Post site.

How do I upload a photo to the Realtree Photo Post site?

- Login to your Realtree Photo Post site account if you are not already.

- In the top right hand corner of the screen there are five links: Main Index - Search - My Profile - Upload Photos - Logout. Select "Upload Photos", this takes you to the photo upload page.

- The second item down is "Choose a Category", it has a list next to it with a listing of all the current categories, select the one that is most appropriate for your photo.

NOTE: The Realtree Picture Post site is monitored by the Moderators from the Realtree.com forums. We view these photos for content to make sure they are suited for a family oriented site. We also try to make sure that photos are placed in the most appropriate category, if we feel that a photo is better suited in a different category we will move it. If this happens you will recieve an email informing you that the photo has been moved. The relevance if this is that when a photo is moved it's link information changes also, which means if you have posted the pic on the web and it then gets moved due to being in the wrong category your pic will not show up. Because of this please make sure you select the most appropriate category.

- The third item down is "Photo to Upload" (please note that there is a file size limit). Select the "Choose File" button located to the right. This lets you browse your computer for the file you would like to upload.

- Select the file you want to upload. The file name now shows up next to the "Choose File" button.

- The last item is for if you want to be notified via email if someone posts a comment to your photo. Select Yes or No.

- Select the "Upload/Submit" button. This takes you to a "Processing" screen and then automatically takes you to a further info page.

- Once again check that your photo is being placed in the most appropriate category, change the category if necessary.

- Enter a Title for your photo, you may also add a description and keywords if you want.

- Select the "Process Files" button. After it has processed the photos, there will be a link "Click here to return to main menu" Click that to take you back to the Main Index (or clicking the Main Index link will do the same thing).
