More South Dakota Roosters

Just finished the rest of my lic. this week for pheasants in South Dakota. TONS-TONS-TONS of BIRDS!!! shocked.gifgrin.gif It was great! Got in some great quick shooting and the dogs got to do a lot of working.... Here are a few pics:

This guy was looking right at me....

Here is my three bird limit for one day with K.O. (She is 13 years old)...

Here is a pic of me and Max (the youngen).. I am so proud of him-I knocked a rooster down and he started to run and Max sprinted and caught the rooster while he was hauling rear...It was cool! grin.gif

Last but not least... I tried to get a decent picture of this little deer... it was like a scene right out of Bambi on the ice... It was fun to watch tongue.gif Behind "Bambi" is an abanden farm and woods that the owner let's no one hunt... However we counted over 50 deers within a 1 mile square radius-I kid you not! So next year I am going to do some asking but I know where I need to be next year with bow in hand... ready to rock! laugh.gif

A warm apple pie and a friendly approach have gotten me plenty of permission to hunt on land where the owner did not allow hunting. Mostly they appreicate you coming to talk to them, instead of trespassing like some one else might, give it a shot.

Congrats on the birds, nice shootin'. Nice pics too.
