AJ
Re: What Muzzleloader to Buy ?? Thats easy. I own T/C, Knight, Remington, and the Savage. I recommend the Savage over all muzzleloaders. It is the most versitile ML on the market. It will shoot black powder, pyrodex, tripple 7, clean shot., clear shot, or the best part smokeless powder. It is the most powerful muzzleloader sold today. The shooter has the option to shoot loads ranging from very mild loads up to some serious loads that can approach 5,000 lb/ft of energy, that will take anything that walks this earth. It shoots accurately, has a decent trigger, and comes in a few options of steel and stock material. It comes with fiber optic sights and can have high quality mounts from most manufacturers installed for scope mounting. I really like the Savage 10 ML II. Its a do everything or anything ML. David_218
Re: What Muzzleloader to Buy ?? Many great M/L's out on the market today. I personally own a Knight MK-85 in .50 caliber, since 1990, and a T/C Black Diamond in the same caliber. Both have been great M/L's.
G-Daddy
Re: What Muzzleloader to Buy ?? Make sure you check the laws for the state(s) you are going to hunt. Some may specify that the ignition must be exposed.
str8shooter48
Re: What Muzzleloader to Buy ?? T/C Encore for me. My brother is extremely happy with his T/C Omega. Both 50 Cal. I bought the Encore before the Omega hit the market. I don't regret it because of the versatility of the interchangeable barrels. But if I just wanted a muzzleloader It would probrably be the Omega. Guest DaHunter
Re: What Muzzleloader to Buy ?? I have a T/C Omega and love it. It came dead on from 15 yards too 100 yards, with 3 pyro pellets and a 345 grain powerbelt. I havent shot farther so i really dont know the drop from it. very easy cleaning also. DannoBoone1
Re: What Muzzleloader to Buy ?? Since you're willing to spend the money, get one with a GOOD steel barrel. Many of the imports do not have barrels safe for 150gr equivalent loads. Knight, T/C, and Savage all come with decent open sights and made from good quality steel. I have the Encore and Savage. Like AJ, I prefer the Savage.

too_pointer
Re: What Muzzleloader to Buy ?? Well, since you asked. LOL. I also own a TC Encore. I had a TC white mountain carbine before that. This is only my opinion, I love them both !! I have some buddies who have the TC Omega, and you will find out they are great guns. Knights are good, but I'm not into the plastic primer holder (this is just my choice). Many choices out there. too_pointer
