instead of planting the biologic (brassicas) which is an annual with clover (a perennial) I would try making 2 different plots. Split half the plot with perennials and the other half with annuals. One plant that you can plant with your clover is chicory. This is a great high protein producing perennial.

As far as the grass that came up--remember perennials require work. Either spraying for the grasses or weeds or mowing them to keep them under control!

Have to agree with Todd. I use different plots for annuals and for perenials. Some clover blends come with chickory.

Our clovers have been hammered really hard this year, they are looking kind of rough, but the deer are still feeding in those plots some time in the middle of the night.
