FoxPro Game Calls. Questions?

Re: FoxPro Game Calls. Questions?

FOXPRO's web site is down while they switch servers.

I have the FX3 and the 532B. I like both of them, they are the best E-callers I have ever used. The things I like about both is they are easy and lite to carry, each call has 32 distress sounds to chose from, they both operate by remote (No wires). The FX3 is easy to program and set up the order you want the sounds just by plugging it into your computer, and downloading the sound you want. By downloading the FOXPRO FX3 utility you can print out new lables for your remote and the unit. The only thing I don't like is the 532B isn't as easy to reprogram.

Here are some of the distress sounds I use and have worked for me.

Jackrabbit Distress

Aggressive Jackrabbit

Cottontail Distress #1

Cottontail Distress #2

DSG Cottontail Distress

Rabbit Duet

Baby Cottontail Distress

Rodent Distress

Vole Squeak

Groundhog Distress

Female Cardinal Distress

Lucky Bird

Woodpecker Distress

Man JCWA, I couldnt have said it better. That is almost the exact list of sounds I was gonna post. All I would add is a few coyote sounds. The pup in distress and a few howls.

Re: FoxPro Game Calls. Questions?

The one I'll be ordering is the FX3. So I guess that one comes with 32 different sounds of my choice. Any others you recommend? How far does the remote really work from. They claim 700 yds. not like you'll use that but.

If you have 32 sounds and say you want to use sound # 17, how would you scroll through the sounds. I've never used or seen a FoxPro call so I need to know as much as I can before I spend all that money on one. THanks alot

Re: FoxPro Game Calls. Questions?

I placed mine out to 100yds a couple of times but I place it 20 to 35yds from me most of the time and I haven't had a problem. I tested it out to 200yds and it worked fine.

Here are a few pics. The remote has up and down buttons to scroll through, you can push the button each time or just push and hold to get to what sound you want to use, once you get to the sound you want to use, you just push the send button and the FX3 will switch over to that sound. The volume button works the same way, but you don't have to push send. The AUX button is for working your FP jack-in- the-box decoy, you just plug the decoy into the AUX jack on the FX3 and you can turn the decoy on and off when you want.

Re: FoxPro Game Calls. Questions?

Their isn't another caller that I have used that would compare to the FOXPRO line of callers.

Another digital caller on the market similar to the FOXPRO FX3 is the BANDIT, but I don't know much about it. Look at their web site and check it out.

One thing about the FX3 that was just released is in the furture the FX3 will be upgradeable to 200 sounds. The FX3 also has a 7 year warranty.

I really think you would be happy with the FX3 and not even look back.

Re: FoxPro Game Calls. Questions?

Sorry about that. LOL.

You can go HERE and listen to most of FOXPRO's sounds

Here is a list of other FOXPRO calls I would suggest. Just because you may not have a type of animal in your area does not mean it won't work. I know I don't have African Spring Hare's in my area but it calls in coyotes.

Siren : This is a great locator call.

Coyote Pup Distress

Coyote Death Cry

Spring Hare Distress

Snowshoe Hare Distress

Jackrabbit Squall

Fawn Distress

Male Cardinal Distress

Flicker Distress

Chicken Distress

Kitten Distress
