Guest Sagitarius
I was wondering if anyone knows what the minimum grains per pound and arrow setup should be. Is this a bow model specific number or is this a rule of thumb number?
Chrud
Re: Minimum grains per pound on arrows........ No lighter than 5 grains per pound. So, if you shoot 70 pounds, your total arrow weight (shaft, insert, point, vanes, nock) has to be at least 350 grains. Anything less is just like dry-firing your bow. hutchies
Re: Minimum grains per pound on arrows........ I have always went by the 5 grains per pound method but I know some guys that shoot 3 grains per pound.
