You guys are probably coming to this post thinking I missed a good deer. Wrong, I shoot an old PSE Beast with two single wheels that I bought new 5, going on 6, years ago. I was seriously thinking of getting a new Hoyt XTEC when I got the money saved up. Well....I went to the bow shop this evening to get it tinkered with a little, nothing serious, just a little mid-season check up to see if everything is straight and still entact. Afterwards, we went back in the range and shot. I pull #75 with a 29" draw,I shot through the chrono and it hit 255 fps, that 'ol sucker still has it. It is still quiet and I just love the feel of it. I talked to the guy in the shop about my thoughts of getting a new one. He said, "Why, when this one still shoots good. When you shoot a deer with this one and shoot a deer with the new one in the same spot, it won't make the deer die any quicker." He made me think a little bit and he convinced me to stay with the 'ol Beast. Just can't get away from it. Anyway, just thought I would let you guys know. What would you do if you were in my shoes?

Sounds to me like "The Beast" has been treating you pretty good. If you have no complaints about it, then by all means save your money and keep on, keepin on. wink.gif

I've had my Mathews Feathermax for 13 years now and it's still treating me pretty good. I'm tempted to get a newer model, but I can't really complain about what I already have.
