MCH
And signs a one year deal with the Dodgers to play first base. Looks like our infield just got a little older.... At least he's better than Heep Sop....
Tominator
Re: Nomar spurns Yankees Is Ramon old enough to play first base? I thought 1st base was the "designated has been" position? Or is that just in the American League?
buckbuster11
Re: Nomar spurns Yankees First base eh? It will be interesting to see if Nomar can get back to where he was a few years ago. If he can do that the Dodgers got a real deal.
iabow
Re: Nomar spurns Yankees I think that decision was based on more of his wife then anything. They have a house out there and she wanted him to play for a team on the west coast. Watch him tear it up after he left the Cubs.
MCH
Re: Nomar spurns Yankees Add another oldie to the Dodger's ranks. We just signed Kenny Lofton to a 1 year deal. And we're pursuing Reggie Sanders.... Maybe they'll start calling us the Los Angeles Codgers....
c_lou
Re: Nomar spurns Yankees So are they renaming the stadium to Shady Hills Retirement Park? Hopefully NO-MAAAHs can stay healthy.
VABuckSlayer
Re: Nomar spurns Yankees The Yankees really didn't need Nomar in my opinion but that would be cool to have the 3 best SS on the same team! We need some pitching and somebody to play Center. Damon would be nice but he wants too much I think. I'm sure he can get it somewhere though. He's good!
