Tominator
Combination of both, because I "can" and because it's more effective IMHO.

Born2Hunt
Re: doe bleet vs grunt call All depends on buck doe ratio. Here in NNY where you have one buck for every 15 does a buck may run away if you grunt to avoid a fight. The buck will always find another hot doe around here with no confrontation. too_pointer
Re: doe bleet vs grunt call I use the truetalker for my grunts, and the " can " for my doe bleats. Usually use them together. too_
maytom
Re: doe bleet vs grunt call Tried using the "can" and the grunt tube many times over the years. Neither worked. Seriously thinking of leaving them home and make my back pak lighter.

Stinger-Hunter
Re: doe bleet vs grunt call [ QUOTE ] All depends on buck doe ratio. Here in NNY where you have one buck for every 15 does a buck may run away if you grunt to avoid a fight. The buck will always find another hot doe around here with no confrontation. [/ QUOTE ] Same as here in Indiana - I've never had a buck come in because of a grunt, then just trot off like they accidentally bumped into someone. The only time I've had a deer come in from calling was from the "CAN" and even that is a rarity.
Mach1
Re: doe bleet vs grunt call Proud user of The Can and True Talker. I can't argue with the results. 2005 (archery) - called in with the Primos Original Can 2004 (shotgun) - Called in with the H.S. True Talker 2000 (archery) - called in with the H.S. True Talker and real rattling antlers
