IowaDeerHunter
Re: 412 LB Whitetail [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Yeah its a great buck no matter what, but if you look at it, the guy on the left is sitting back a little bit, and the guy on the right is sitting forward a little bit, so thats what makes their heads APPEAR bigger. And HIS right hand could appear that big just by the angle, and HIS left hand, is just like any other, its as big as the browtine he has his hands on, theres nothing abnormal about that.. [/ QUOTE ] why don't you put one of those red boxes around the dude's hands (the one holding the antlers.), and then you'll see what the @#$#$ narrow-minded guys are talking about. [/ QUOTE ] Well, if you look closely at his hand, his hand and arm are at almost a 90 degree angle. Which would make his hand look huge compared to his arm. The horn in the way doesn't help any either.
RyanH
Re: 412 LB Whitetail [ QUOTE ] You mean the guy wearing the camo hasn't been photoshopped? I sure do feel sorry for him! ...can't believe I just said that. If I ever meet him, I'll have to apologize, but that pic sure makes him look odd... [/ QUOTE ] LOL i didnt see that! But the Guys Face is the same face in the pic at work! This pid does look odd. But its the SAME face just a different angle!
VtBowhunter
Re: 412 LB Whitetail And this is why we ask you folks not to call each other out in view of everyone else. It only leads to bickering that NOBODY wants to read. So many shopped photos have been in here that people are a bit skeptical when photos of freakishly large animals appear. Get used to it and get over it. Y'all can believe or not, but keep it to yourselves.

rockefeller66
Re: 412 LB Whitetail I seen that pic on Kisky.com forum, the guy knew the guy who found it and posted a new paper article or something on there with more pics of it, he swears it is real! Photo shopped or not, who cares, the buck is HUGE obviously, why argue over a picture that was put up here for us all to look at, who cares if it is photoshopped, doesn't hurt me any! See ya! IowaDeerHunter
Re: 412 LB Whitetail I will give my last 2 cents and let the toipc move to the bottom of the page. Like BowhunterBTH said, was the topic not about the deer? Yes it was, so who cares if the guys were photoshopped. I could've photoshopped an elephant in there and it wouldn't matter, the deer is real, and that is all that matters. It is kinda like saying I shot of 150 inch buck. But something on me in the picture was photoshopped, so the deer isn't 150 inches it only scores 130.

BowJoe
Re: 412 LB Whitetail I understand what everyone's saying, it's just that if I got on here and pulled up the Rompola buck and pasted my head onto Mitch Rompola's then you would cry foul in an instant. If I got on here the next day and said that I killed a 600 lb. deer and showed you a blown up pic of a body with me pasted in the background then you'd also cry foul. What I'm trying to say is that we have certain standards on here that I have grown to respect as a forum member and I take pride in knowing I can trust to a certain degree the members on here as well. If we start taking everything at face value and don't question it then we are leaving ourselves to be dooped into more outlandish statements. That deer may be around the low to mid 300's tops but it is not a 412 lb deer. Their is a method of photography where if you zoom in on one object or center an object up close it appears larger than what it is. Their are more pics on the link if you scroll down and you can see where this method was tried when they took the pic from the deer's hind end but included the 3 men. Has anyone seen the picture of the Camel spider on www.snopes.com? Look it up and you'll see exactly what I mean. My reason for thinking that at least one of the pics was actually cut and pasted is the first one where if you look at both photos, the head is in exactly the same angle, (which is unnaturally toward the left) and the face is exactly the same. No difference at all. Why? I don't know. Maybe he just wanted bragging rights or to win a local contest or have his 15 mins of fame. Who knows, but not everything is exactly as described in the photos. Congradulations to him for taking such a deer, but shame on whoever decided to make up a story about it. gitcha_some
Re: 412 LB Whitetail the hunters are deifnantly messed around with by some sort of photoshop, look at the facial expressions in both pics...exactly the same except only bigger head in second pic, that being said, the deer looks fine and i would congratulate the "real" person who shot it if i kenw who it was

[/ QUOTE ] No, I'm not censoring you. What I don't want to see is where you and a few others see the photo and see something that looks fake and comment (nicely) about it, then a bunch of other guys come in and start hollering "It's real and I know because......" If you don't think it looks real, then say so nicely and if someone else has proof that it is then they could simply come back with......"Yeah it's real, here's what I found on it.......". That's the way these thing should be handled.
Hoyt03
Re: 412 LB Whitetail I dont doubt the deer is real by any means, It just looks odd, like the two guys were added in a smaller size to make the deer look alot bigger, like holding a fish way out in front of you. nice buk tho
