Tony
Re: NFAA 360/FITA 360 there are 2 differant ways to shoot the traditional 5 spot targets.. see pic of 5 spot. [image][/image] the traditional way the NFAA shoots 5 spots is the arrows are scored on 4 or 5 points for each and whether they are in the X ring or not. anything in the dark blus is 4 and white is 5 . but if you hit an X its is still 5 points , but is then marked down as a X. its mainly for tie breakers.. so a 5 arrow end is scored like this 5X-25 points the max score is 300 points - 60 X and looks like this 300-60X. now a 5 spot 360 round is scored with the 4 and 5 ring and then the X is 6 points. which means that if you hit all Xs it is 360. all of the official NFAA tournys are all scored the 300- 60 X way. plus you have 4 mins to shoot 5 arrows.. a Fita 360 is shot at many differant distances. it can be shot at 18 meters ( 20 yards ). they just score the center as 10 . its is shot on a 3 spot target like this one . they shoot 60 arrows and have only 2 mins for 3 arrows..
