BowJoe
We have a lot of yotes down here on my buddies place. The packs have gotten so thick you can't even leave a deer over night for fear of total devestation. I have lost one and so has my buddy in the past year to yotes. What's the best bait, rifle, setup and time to take the yotes and how many would you have to take in a given area to make a dent?

[/ QUOTE ] bait---gutpiles make great bait. gun--if you're not wanting to save the pelt your deer rifle will work just fine. how many----as many as you can take. I don't know if you can ever make a "dent" in the population. Those dogs breed like rabbits
WaCoyote
Re: Complete Rookie Question. Call them in rather than baiting. If you have that many bring a shotgun. If you have several come in at once close, you can sleuse a couple of them before they get away. I've had two occasions this year where a shotgun would have got me easy doubles. If theres that many they should come in good with a call.
