plannerman
What are your thoughts?? I've used them for years in my Rem 700ML and love the accuracy. Shot many deer and am satisfied but not thrilled with the performance. Thankfully the last 2 were heart shots and the deer dropped in sight. What's your experiences and thoughts??? Keep in mind I just bought 4 more boxes on clearance at WallyWorld - so don't make me feel bad, it's Christmas!!!
AJ
Re: Opinions of Hornady 45-240 XTP\'s I use them to test loads in my Savage. If they shoot decently, I try the SST or Shockwave. I do not like them for deer hunting. They are too fragile for the Savage and I don't get good bloodtrails when using pyrodex. They are very accurate though. I have basically went with the idea of when I use them in muzzleloaders, I will shoot through both shoulders and drop the deer on the spot. Hoosierbuck
Re: Opinions of Hornady 45-240 XTP\'s Gotta be better than the 155 gr. XTP's that I quit using...great accurracy, but not great on game. Like the powerbelts much better on game. HB

Guest ruffhunter
Re: Opinions of Hornady 45-240 XTP\'s I recently switched to the .452 300 XTP. It is the most accurate (sub 1 inch/100yards) and great expansion. Their stuck with me!!
