wtnhunt
Looking to spend around $150, but might go to as much as $200 depending on what I can find. It is going on her .243, and I would prefer a 3-9X40 or 44. Was considering a simmons aetec or a possibly nikon buckmaster if wal mart clearances them again. Any suggestions anyone? Texan_Til_I_Die
Re: Scope for my daughters rifle I'd go with the Nikon too. You can get a brand new one on eBay for $165 plus $9.50 shipping if you're into the eBay thing.

snapper
Re: Scope for my daughters rifle Another vote for Nikon. I have a few...prostaff and buckmasters and both are great scopes for the money!
too_pointer
Re: Scope for my daughters rifle I just bought a Nikon Prostaff 2-7x32 for my .22. A buckmaster 3x9 isn't much more. All my guns wear Nikons, and I'm happy with them too_
ousoonerfan22
Re: Scope for my daughters rifle Check ebay out you can find some nice prices on new scopes. wtnhunt
Re: Scope for my daughters rifle Thanks guys, put the simmons 8 point I took off of my wifes savage rifle on it for now just to get her shooting. Will most likely go with a Nikon buckmasters scope for her rifle. Might make a nice birthday gift for her this March.
johnf
Re: Scope for my daughters rifle I have an 8pt on my ML. It's been a realy reliable scope and you'll be happy with it's clarity. It dosen't compare with the nikons when there's not a lot of light to work with.
