I liked what i saw on another thread so i figured i would try one as well... this first pic is of me and my 2 good friends after a first harvest with a longbow, running shot at 10 yards.

That was early season... which soon lead to frost mornings and the tip of the rut.and that undenyable smell of dead leaves and acorns that make me feel at home.

Eventually this lovely season came to a close, but brought on the brother hood and peak rut of the gun season. It was very fruitful and proved successful for my little brother (17) who got this monster opening day his 5th buck, first with a gun

my father also scored on a 4 point with a broken leg and a 2.5y/o 6 point with bad genetics....

What an amazing year in upstate Ny. but it wasn't over for em, after taking my fill of does, i figured i would try my luck at the Massachusettes deer season, which provided my first MA buck.. a decent 2.5 y/o 9 point.
