Re: Fletching glue???

I use goat tuff and so do all of the pro shops I go to. I think that once you get a good glue then you should concetrate on the prep. I prep my arrows with a really rough grit sand paper to scratch up the surface and then I use either alcohol or an acetone based cleaner to remove any loose debris. I wear gloves during that part of the prep because I don't want all of that acetone in my system. It soaks in almost instantly through the skin. Ventilate well if you can. I then fletch with a steady bead of glue and voila'. Nice new arrows.

Re: Fletching glue???

I have tried some stuff like that super glue cyno epoxy, what I use is Bohning Fletch-Tite Platinum. It works pretty well I have nocked some fletchings off after they fly threw the grass and a few other times while messing with my new drop away rest.

but the fletch tite works way better then super glue
