David_218
Barrels, for Shotgun as well as shotguns themselves have gone up in price the past few years. I own a Browning Gold Deer Hunter 20 gauge shotgun, and I saw the other day that a rifled slug barrel with no sights cost over $400 and a regular 26" barrel cost around $350! AJ
Re: ARRRR You can shoot foster type slugs in your smoothbore barrel. You will have to do some practicing to be able to shoot consistantly if you just use the front bead for sights. Maybe you can get a set of adjustable sights that mount to the rib. They will help you get better groups. Range is limited with foster type slugs. You are limited to well under 100 yards with them in most guns.
