AJ
Re: patternmaster question The only reason I could possibly think of is the Hevi Shot hurting the studs that slow down the wad. I saw this on their web page: [ QUOTE ] Q: I purchased a Patternmaster choke several years ago for goose and turkey hunting, I have recently purchased some Hevi-Shot by Remington and they recommend the choke diameter be .0675 +. 005 can you tell me what size patternmasters ID is and if you have heard how the Hevi-Shot performs with your Chokes. A: At the end of a Patternmaster choke it measures .715. The Patternmaster has been tested and works extremely well with hevi-shot. [/ QUOTE ] I suggest you contact them and inquire directly. strubedog
Re: patternmaster question A majority of the shotgun mfg companies and choke companies say not to use hevishot for legal reasons I think. I guarantee you that most every good choke out there is being shot with hevishot. Wad Wizard, terror tubes, patternmasters, tru locks, briley, hastings I wouldn't necessarily shoot too large of shot through a given constriction though.
