Guest fourtrax_300 Posted January 2, 2006 Report Share Posted January 2, 2006 hey i'm looking into getting a bow. i'm looking into hoyt, matthews and PSE. i have seen alot of talk about PSE and matthews but next to nothing said about PSE. are the PSE's good quality bows or what ? worse that the others i'm looking at ? i dont have any certain models picked out but I'm looking for something thats not too much money since it's my first newer full sized bow. can someone recommend one ? i dont know much about bows . the only things i'm worried about is that i want someting fairly light weight and that has good let off. thanks in advance Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

PSE, makes a great line of bows, I just got the oppertunity not long ago to try out the new PSE Diablo and man what a sweet shooting bow... Tony Posted January 2, 2006 Report Share Posted January 2, 2006 Re: PSE bows ? while PSE isnt as popular as say Mathews or Hoyt they do have good customer service and make a good shooting bow. they have 3 of the top shooters in the country shooting for them right now. which means exposure to many more people. they will definately be heard from this year .. they just got one of the top shooters in the country from Hoyt Chance Beauboff and along with Nathan Brooks and Eric Griggs they will be a formidable group.. they have a chance to win several of the big indoor target tounys this season and 3D coming up this summer.. with shooters like these shooting form them its going to get the PSE bows noticed .. like most have said here try a few bows and see what you like. PSE are good bows, don't get me wrong, but i think Mathews is the best. Go out and shoot one of each brand and buy whichever one fits YOU the best and the one YOU like the most. Good luck. When it comes down to that big buck your the one that has to kill it not the bow. Any bow these days are awesome. I've shot a PSE Fitzgerald and have loved it for 5 years. Hey man i tell you what i have shot hoyt bows and pse and i guarentee you i love the PSE, never tried a matthews before but heard that the swithchback is awesome, i wish i had the money, but try a few out and see what you like, i think that is the best way to go. I used to shoot a PSE but for no reason bought a Jennings Buckmaster, PSEs are a good bow, can't say what model to go with but go out and hold and shoot one and she what you like.
