plannerman
Looking to book a 2006 hunt (I know I'm running out of time) for my 40th B-day. What would you guys suggest, staying under $5k and staying on this continent. Rifle, archery or muzzleloader are being considered, and I reallllllyyyyyy like mulies! fisherguy
Re: 40th B-day Hunt Suggestions I would recommend looking at a prime mulie hunt in Saskatchewan, or Colorado, or some of the other expensive trophy areas. I think for $5000 you can get a pretty good hunt in some great areas. Might as well spend it on something you love to hunt.
G-Daddy
Re: 40th B-day Hunt Suggestions I did a 4-day muley/antelope hunt at 7-V Ranch near Brusset, MT in October. Filled 3 tags - doe antelope, 15-1/2" buck antelope, 26-1/2" muley buck and the entire trip cost around $4000. That counts airfare, SUV rental, hotels, licenses and tags, meals, outfitter fees and tips.
birddog
Re: 40th B-day Hunt Suggestions For me, a 5000 dollar hunt would have me on a Carribou Hunt in Canada: 2 bull tags, archery gear!! And 5000 is what my friends paid for EVERYTHING including their meat home with them:
