JPGS22
All through deer season we heard coyotes all over the place were we hunt. So my buddy and I decide we would try and call them in. We used a quaker boy rabbit distress, and the primos lil dog howler. We both aren't experts, but we did get them to howl and bark a little. It was like they were sitting still and wouldn't come any closer. We hunted two different spots a couple of times, and the same thing happen. What should we do differently? jcwa
Re: need some help First thing, do not use the howler unless you know how to use it correctly. You need to learn how and when to use a howler for it to work. For now stick with the distress sounds until you learn the different type of howls, and when and when not to use them. Listen to rabbit distress sounds and practice different distress sounds. Go to Western-rivers free downloads and Varmint Al's and listen to the distress sounds and practice the different sounds.
