Guest lovinbowhuntin247365 Posted January 3, 2006 Report Share Posted January 3, 2006 i finally got my first der ofer the winter vacation!!!!it was about 10 minutes before shooting light was due to go out, and in comes a small to mid-sizxe doe to my bait. standing perfectly broadside. i aimed for the lungs, and shot way forward and put an arrow through her heart ... good shot though!! we were able to track her with a Mag-Lite Solitaire, a key-chain maglite ... we tracked her for about 100 yards, and then found her laying there ... when we were gutting her, i noticed something that looked like a testicle, and we felt the head and found out that it was a small nub buck!!!but either way, i still woulda taken her/him LOL ... anyways, this the first ever tag i have filled, and i shot him with a bow!!! im so happy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
