wtnhunt
Welcome to the forums. Sure there are some good wildlife biology programs out there available at many schools, would think that would be a good start.

Guest MarylandQDMA
Re: Starting Out welcome! be sure to look into wildlife managment programs as well. some schools will ofer the biology side and others offer the ecology side wile others cover a bit of both. I would suggest finding a school that is in the area that you wish to work and live in after you finish school. they will most likely gear their lessons on the local envirment. be sure to look at www.qdma.com they have a welth of info. and will provide you with lots of reasearch information for papers. if you have an area that you care for now, keep detailed reccoreds never know what you might be able to use latter on for a research project. good luck, I'll be heading back my self some time in the next few years.
