The test revealed that people picked Folgers to be the worst-tasting coffee, which is weird since it is probably the best-selling coffee. Just wondering what ya'll prefer.... I usually just buy it at the gas station, and can tell some stations' coffee is better than others, but I got a coffee maker for Christmas, so I'm gonna be trying out a few different brands. I have my own grinder, at least 4 different coffee makers, and 1 espresso machine. BTW...You can actually make Folgers taste better by grinding it into a powder to extract more flavor from it during brewing. I lived in Florida for a long time and became accustomed to Cuban coffee. I like coffee with flavor but not too bitter. When I'm out I like the "Trippio Espresso" at Starbucks. At home I'm making all kinds of different mixtures. Often I'll add sugar in the grinder with the coffee and make up batches to brew later...storing them in air-tight containers. Including different items such as small amounts of Butter, Grated Vanilla, and Cinnamon added on top of the grounds during brewing can add a nice change too. My favorite Coffee of all time, and still the only one I like plain, is Rico-Rico. It has better flavor than brands costing 5 times as much. I like the flavor right out of the bag with the grind being acceptable for most coffee makers...all I have to do if I want an extra Zip out of it is grind it smaller and use the Espresso machine.
