huntinsonovagun
I cannot, for the life of me, decide on a scope. For one, nobody has a good selection of scopes to hold in my hand. Anyone can order anything, but I would like to look before I buy. May just order and go on with life. Ok, have a NEF .223 on layaway right now, and looking for scopes. I looked at a Nikon Prostaff today and I was VERY impressed! Compared it to a Fullfield II, and I like it very well. I would just like something with at least a 12x. I have now come to the conclusion that I can deal with poor optics, as long as the scope is true. Heck, anymore most companies will stand behind their product. So now...can anyone tell me it they've had experience with this scope? Why does it have to be so difficult?! (But I do know it wouldn't be AS difficult if I were not a college student... )
AJ
Re: Simmons Prosport I hear ya Ryan. I hav not played with the new lline of Simmons scopes. I do have a few of their 44 Mag scopes on my varmint and rimfire guns. I ahve this scope on my NEF Handi Rifle in 223 Rem and my AR15 flattop. It has worked great for me. The glass is a little on the dark side, but unless you are shooting after dark, its not that bad. The crosshairs are a little on the thick side with the standard duplex, but the 20x mag fixes that.
