oo_buck
I have one rifle that I need a scope for. I have been putting it off, saving, and trying to find out what I should buy for quite some time. I have another question about scopes.... The Redhead brand, by BassPro.... Who makes them? And are they worth buying? OR Would I be better off sticking with a mainstream brand?
AJ
Re: Yet Another Scope Question.... I don't know. I do have a Cabelas Alaskan Guide Scope on one of my guns. It has not needed adjustment in over 5 years. It still shoots the same place it did 5 years ago. It has hunted in 3 different states since then and been on some rough hunts. Guest Colorado Bob
Re: Yet Another Scope Question.... 00 Buck-----Advice on scopes------Get a good one to start or You will replace it it a few years with a GOOD one. Save you money and get a Leupold VX-II 3x9-----I have had different scopes thru the years---now everything has a Leupold. I would also consider a Nikon Monarch. But nothing else. Get good glass the 1st time. Just my opinion. CB

Me personally I try to stick with name brand stuff & products with a quality reputation. If you don't want to spend a whole lot of money you can get good qality glass from Leupold & Nikon. Its just better off to save a 150$ to 200$ & buy one of these scopes instead of an off brand with limited warranties & no reputation to go on.
