MadHuntinPastor
I was hunting yesterday for deer at a bow only location when this nice red fox ran by me in thick brush. I tried squeaking at him to bring him back but he kept running to the next door property. 10 minutes later he was running back towards me with a squirrel in his mouth. I took a 20 yard running shot at him and missed! Crazy thing was he came back twice in the next hour and looked at me and then trotted off. I thought it was strange till I went to get my arrow.......the dumb thing dropped his squirrel and kept coming back to get it. Wish I would have hit him cuz the squirrel was in good shape and it would have been a great fox with squirrel in mouth mount. Oh well...instead it's a great story. Maybe I'll get him tomorrow

MadHuntinPastor
Re: Crazy thing!! [ QUOTE ] BTW, do you carry a squeaker with you, or use your mouth like a kiss? --plink-- [/ QUOTE ] I've done both. The mouse squeaker carries alot farther. I've called in a Red from 150 yards away with it. Kinda fun. Tough to kill with a bow though.
