AJ Posted January 6, 2006 Report Share Posted January 6, 2006 I see what you mean. On CVA's webpage it states a fixed modified choke in one area and full choke below on the same page. Bass Pro's website does not say choke tube though. It says a full choke, do not assume tubes. CVA's website says it uses an internal modified choke and allows the shooter to adjust the pattern with different loads. That's how it was done in the old days. You can shoot faster loads or extend the length of the slits in the wad to open the pattern. You can slow down the shot, or make the slits shorter and tighten the pattern.
