VTbowman
I thought the land owner had to be the one with the hunters insurance? Its always been "Hunt at your own risk" on my land. If you have regular medical, that should cover "you". Seems like a weird request but it could be just me.
wtnhunt
Re: Hunting Insurance Never heard of hunters insurance. So long as you got medical and could show him proof would think he would be ok. Maybe you could sign some sort of waiver releasing him from liability so you cannot sue him. As a landowner I carry a liability policy and can understand his concerns.
popgun
Re: Hunting Insurance He may be talking about a personal hunter liability insurance policy like you get free with an NRA membership. This would cover damage to his property in case of an accident by the hunter. .....popgun
popgun
Re: Hunting Insurance That is much too high. Consider joining the NRA. This is additional to the dues, but dues gives some coverage for free. Excess Personal Liability - Because accidents do happen no matter how careful you are... receive $100,000 of protection for only $47 per year, or $250,000 for $68 per year. Check out their web-page. www.mynra.com .....popgun
