As for the price difference, its different markups at different gun shops. Some dealers pay the mortgage on every sale, some do it through volume sales at lower prices. He can always buy it online from a few dealers or auction places and have it shipped to a FFL holder closeby. Dealers charge anywhere from $20 per transfer to a percentage of the value of the gun.
