cold weather question

i was shooting my bow and im not sure if its because i havent shot in a couple of weeks but it seemed louder than normal.my question is do your bows get louder in colder weather?its cold now but the last time i shot it was a very warm day.i have an outback and all the things on it to make it quiet are still in good shape.thanks.

I do notice a bit of difference when the temp drops. I am guessing,but it would seem that if you have rubber type dampeners and stabilizers they will stiffen up a bit in the cold contributing to the louder bow noise.

Yes the rubber does harden some but if the bow is set up to spec, especially his Outback (I know, I've had 2) it shouldn't be a noticable difference in sound.

My Outbacks and my XT are no louder now than when I shoot in the warmer months.
