EIGHTPOINT
I'm having trouble finding ammo for this caliber and only have the Remington 150 gr. so far. I can't seem to find other bullet weights or mfrg's.
AJ
Re: REM. 300 SAUM AMMO. As far as I know, Remington is the only manufacturer of the SAUM. Search a few retailers on line and you can mail order the stuff. Here are some: Natchez has 150, 165, and 180 gr factory ammo. Bass Pro Shops has the 150 and 180 gr CLUB. D&R Sports has the 150, 165, and 180 gr offerings.

EIGHTPOINT
Re: REM. 300 SAUM AMMO. Took my new Remington 300 SAUM stainless with syn stock to the range today and was pleased with this guns preformance. Using the 150 grain bullets I was able to get my best group of 3/4" at 100 yards. I was expecting a kicker but was pleasantly surprised at the lack of recoil and minimal muzzel jump. I could have stayed there all day and shot the gun. I'm glad I bought it, can't wait to hunt with it. I'll be trying some Remington factory 180 and 165 loads and see how they shoot. A friend of mine also bought one at the same time and he plans on handloading some stuff. It should be fun.
