rifleman25 Posted January 8, 2006 Report Share Posted January 8, 2006 I was wondering if anyone from out west or a western big game hunter could answer a question for me? I met a man named Kirt Darner several years ago at a spotrs show in Denver. I planned a hunt with him and then had to back out due to a family issue. I know there are accusations floating around about questionable hunting activity that he has been involved with. I believe he has paid his debt to society and has gotten his hunting privledges back as well as his outfitters licence. He has killed more B&C muleys than any other hunter alive. I have read both of his books several times and want to plan another hunt with him. What I am wondering is can anyone tell me where he is or maybe put me in contact with him. I have heard conflicting reports, some say he is living in Grants New Mexico and others Say he is in Crawford Colorado. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. All accusations aside he is still the man when it comes to finding trophy muleys. He is the reason I live and die western big game to this day. I have contacted Rich LaRocco the man that co wrote both of his books and he hasn't spoken to him in a few years and is uncertain of his where abouts. In the last printing they did before he pulled them he had 13. Thats more trophy muleys than any other hunter.
