Guest Xen
Re: Springfield XD9 well, when the sig rep comes through, he'll let us try out just about any sig we want. i'm looking forward to shooting their new shotgun. i guess they got an engineer from kreighoff to make a new gun for them, and also somebody from kimber to do some new 1911's
hangunnr
Re: Springfield XD9 Harvdog, If you can wait awhile Kimber is in the pre production stages of producing a poly frame semi-auto. The pics I've seen look very nice. I will likely trade off my Glock for one of these when they hit the market. hangunnr
HarvDog
Re: Springfield XD9 That's a nice looking Kimber. Any idea when this will hit the streets and what the price will be? Hopefully, it will be out by the next Gun show so I can check it out and handle it a bit.
Guest Xen
Re: Springfield XD9 just a side note, sig is coming out with several new sub-compatcs as well this year, also designed by kimber, or at least some of kimbers old engineers
Guest andymansavage
Re: Springfield XD9 hey xen, I found a sub-compact xd-40 at Van Wagenens for $300. It's mint, I'll probably pick it up today. Andy
hangunnr
Re: Springfield XD9 I would guess the price to be somewhere near $600. Kimber hasn't announced a delivery timeframe. hangunnr

Guest andymansavage
Re: Springfield XD9 I just bought the 3" xd-40!!!! After trying other models, it just felt really good in my hand and the sight aquisition is quick too. $300 for a mint gun wasn't bad eather. mule659
Re: Springfield XD9 I own a springfield XD9 and it has been a great gun. I have put countless rounds through it and have never had any kind a malfunction. They are super quick to disassemble and clean. I have also fired it in .40 and that also was a very sweet shooting gun. I would highly recomend the XD in any caliber.

I carry a little 25 auto pocket pistol all the time and, when I'm wearing a big sweatshirt or a coat, I strap on my 357 magnum (6" barrel).
