Born2Hunt
Our local QDMA chapter would like to put on a youth day. Would anyone have a good idea of what we could do? Any suggestion would be helpful.

lil hunter
Re: YOUTH DAY Take small groups of kids into woods, point out all different types of trees and other plants. Give some info about them. Explain to them what kinds of plants deer eat, and don't eat. If possible, give them all a small book about that topic as well. VtBowhunter
Re: YOUTH DAY Don't do it......it causes way more problems then it's worth, and in some states it gives kids the wrong idea from the outset.
