ruttinbuc
I shot a fox last Friday. (pic in muzzleloader forum)....I have a couple of ideas for having him mounted. One is to have him laying down on a table lamp pedestal base and the other would be standing upright with one leg on a stump, looking down at a mouse or something other side. Does anyone have any unique ideas on how I may get this fox done?....Thanks!

ruttinbuc
Re: Fox Pose Suggestions...please Thanks, Kirk, That is pretty neat! I will take it into consideration. I was also thinking of having the fox swatting at a flying bird such as a quail.
rockefeller66
Re: Fox Pose Suggestions...please having one leaping at a bird of any sort is always cool, having one sitting with the alert look is neat too, also having one pouncing is a great one! huntinsonovagun
Re: Fox Pose Suggestions...please What if you can get one crouched down, looking up at a bird or squirrel, like he's ready to pounce on it....

Guest Michelles_Taxidermy
Re: Fox Pose Suggestions...please ruttinbuc, You should realy talk with your taxidermist and ask him what he can do with your fox. Sometimes they don't make forms you want in your foxes size. That is why i suggest talking to your taxidermist. A decision doesn't have to be made the day you drop it off. He'll just tell you what he can do and you can go home and think on it....

ruttinbuc
Re: Fox Pose Suggestions...please Thanks everyone. I really appreciate your suggestions. I will take Michelles advice and talk to my taxidermist. I never gave it a thought as to what he may or not be able to do. I like that standing pose. Looks like it would take up the least amount of room.
