jbeck
Re: Hunting near Sundance, Wy contact the fish and wildlife parks out there, and they can send you a map on BLM ground. You can drive your truck on BLM ground, but not on state ground. GL
stevebeilgard
Re: Hunting near Sundance, Wy sundance has a number of motels. you can expect a 35.00 to 50.00 room for 2. 2 bds about 10.00 more. good hunting, lots of public ground. but, mostly whitetail deer there. mules are down lower, on private land. might have to pay 250.00 to hunt on private land. cotact the local chanber of commerce for a list of motels and ranchers who allow hunting. might also get a turkey tag while you're there. you'll see dozes to a few hundred (turkeys) on a good day. your local blm office can order you maps of the area. hundreds of thousads of acres of blm, national forest, and state land. in fact, wyoming is 51% federal land.
