The archery season runs from the end of September up until I think the second Sunday in January with the exception of the weekend of the youth hunt in October. The muzzleloader seasons runs for one week during the first segment, and then the second segment is another week. The 1st muzzleloader season is 14 days. Starts after 1st gun season. The 2nd gun season is 34 days this year. It starts after the 1st muzzleloader season. The 2nd muzzleloader season is 12 days this year. It starts after the 2nd gun season and runs through the end of January. This is exclusive of the special youth gun season that runs during the last week of our bow season. Our 1st gun season always starts the Saturday before Thanksgiving and runs through Dec. 1st. Our 1st muzzleloader season is always 12/2 to 12/15. The last day of our 2nd gun season ends somewhere from 1/17 to 1/20 but I still haven't figured out the formula. This year its the 18th. The 2nd muzzleloader season just picks up at that point and goes through the end of January. Still wonder why I haven't been in the forums much lately. Early Muzzloader started Oct 15th All of November Late season muzzleloader in the southern teir ended December 20th Thats 67 days straight a NY'er could hunt with some type of firearm.
