LifeNRA
Re: BEST BROADHEADS I have never shot a broadhead yet, but a lot of people say Muzzy. So tonight I bought a six pack of Muzzy's 100 gr. They have a 1 3/16" cutting diameter. My brother been using Muzzy's for years and will not use anything else! Guest bigbuckmiddaugh
Re: BEST BROADHEADS Thats a tuff question, which has been asked many times. Kinda like asking, what is the best bow to shoot! LOL All depends apon what you want and your set up. I shoot the new Sonic broadheads, those heads are new and will come on strong this year. Yes, www.broadheadtests.com is a good place to get info. The Sonic head is on there too. Came out with great results. They don't produce a huge hole, but its all shot placement. I've gotten a few deer with them this year. good luck with whatever you choose!
Guest DJR
Re: BEST BROADHEADS I like the muzzy 3 blades then switched to the 4 blades , they fly better IMO
Guest Bama
Re: BEST BROADHEADS I have trouble getting muzzys to tune so I went with the nitron heads and they literally hit with my field tips with no adjustment. I hit a doe last week and it penetrated the length of the deer before exiting. Great Penetration.
Swamphunter
Re: BEST BROADHEADS Welcome to the forums... I'm betting you get atleast ten completely different opinions on this one. I personally like Rocky Mountain Revolutions for 3 blade mechanicals and for fixed blades, I like the W.A.S.P.'s

puffy
Re: BEST BROADHEADS I use several broadhead types that all shoot well with my setup, but you have to choose and practice with whatever broadhead you decide on before you will feel confident drawing on an animal. Most of all make sure they're sharp! sharp! sharp! It's critical on getting that clean kill. .....................................Hunt Smart-Eat Well
Guest Finn
Re: BEST BROADHEADS The one you can get to fly good with your bow and you have confidence you can put it through the deer's boilerroom everytime. As you can see, there are many choices and many that work well. Test a bunch and go with the one you're most confortable with. Good luck. MCH
Re: BEST BROADHEADS I switched to NAP Spitfire's this year. I've harvested two bucks. One ran 40 yards and the other ran only 20. They have surpassed my expectations. The exit holes are huge! I think they should change their name to Lungshredders...
