billygoat
Re: nef/ h&r The NEF is real popular and compact. My wife has the .243, my father has the 30.06, .270, .357 mag, .45-70 govt, smoke pole, and the .243, at one point he thought he would get every caliber but I think He gave up. johnf
Re: nef/ h&r I had the triggers done on both of mine. I sent them off in the summer and got them both back in 2 1/2 weeks. When I got them back they both had a catalog, accesory barrel list for that gun and a hammer extention. All free of charge. Even return shipping was paid by NEF. I was very pleased with the service. I wouldn't send anything to them passed Aug 1. The repairman said they get swamped in the late summer ealy fall. I actually got to talk with the person who worked on my gun. It was nice. Both have identical (or close) trigger pull at around 3 lbs. It has made a huge difference at the range.

tedicast
Re: nef/ h&r [ QUOTE ] anybody doing anything to them [/ QUOTE ] David White , who has a roon in the Bellm TC's forums is a big fan of these guns. Doing everything from simple modifications, to wildcats rounds. Here is a link to his room at Bellm's. David is a great guy, fast with return emails, and his turn around time is amazing, and best of all, his prices seem extremely reasonable.
