I get the ol buck fever after I make my shot.

I can hold it al together until the shot is made, but then I fall apart...LOL

A couple of years ago, I made a shot on a nice 4x4 while he was sparing with a 3x2, right under me almost. I missed and shot right under him. He backed up and ran 10 yrds and stood there, under an over hanging branch for what seemed an eternity. It took everything I had to pull myself together again and make the secnd, successful shot. wink.gif

The second part of your tip is a doozy, and really hard to do at times, but definately worth it.

Although this can be difficult, try not to get so invloved in the sport that your relationships with friends and familys goes down the tubes.

In all respects the mental part is the toughest of the deerhunting game. You need to have that edge.
